Our Policy

Dear customer, thank you for choosing RideMax as your preferred bicycle rental partner. By using our rental service, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Rental Fees

    If you choose to pay via WeChat Pay or Alipay, the amount will be converted to CNY using the Alipay exchange rate of the day. The same rate will be used when calculating the refund amount at the end of the rental.

  2. Deposit

    The deposit will be promptly refunded as long as the bicycle is returned in the same condition as when it was rented (normal wear and tear excepted).

  3. Use of the Bicycle

    The customer agrees to use the bicycle in a careful and proper manner and to comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations relating to the possession, use, or operation of the bicycle. Current Singapore road traffic regulations stipulate:

    • When riding on roads: Helmets must be worn at all times, and bicycles must be equipped with working front and rear lights.

    • When riding on park connectors (PCN): Bicycle speed must not exceed 25 km/h.

  4. Maintenance and Repairs

    During the rental period, the customer is responsible for any damage to the bicycle, except for normal wear and tear. Upon receiving the bicycle, the customer should immediately inspect it for any defects and take photos to send to RideMax. If no special mention is made or no photos of any defects are received, RideMax will assume that the customer has inspected and accepted the bicycle in good condition with no defects. In the event of any damage being discovered later, the deposit will be deducted according to the following criteria:

    • Punctured tyre (inner tube): The customer can choose to replace the inner tube themselves or pay S$10 for each flat tyre replacement.

    • Punctured tyre (tyre or tubular tyre): The customer can choose to replace the same brand and model of tyre or tubular tyre themselves or pay S$50 for each replacement.

    • Visible scratches/dents/marks on the frame or groupset (carbon frames): The customer can choose to have the frame or components repaired at a reputable workshop or pay S$100-200 for each replacement, depending on the severity of the damage.

    • Visible scratches/dents/marks on the wheelset (carbon wheelsets): The customer can choose to have the wheelset repaired at a reputable workshop or pay S$50 for each replacement.

    • Structural damage to the frame rendering the bicycle unusable: The entire deposit will be forfeited, and the customer can keep the bicycle.

    • Structural damage to the wheelset rendering the wheelset unusable: The customer can choose to replace the same wheelset or pay S$1,000 for the replacement and keep the wheelset.

    • Loss or damage to accessories rendering them unusable: The customer can choose to replace the same accessories or pay S$50 for each replacement.

  5. Liability

    The customer is solely responsible for any accidents or injuries caused by the use of the rental bicycle to themselves or to third parties or property.

    The customer also agrees to indemnify and hold the RideMax harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from the use of the bicycle by the customer. If the customer allows someone else to use the bicycle during the rental period, the customer is also responsible for any accidents or liabilities that arise.

    The RideMax is not liable for any form of damage, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from the use or operation of the rental bicycle, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  6. Insurance

    The customer understands and agrees that RideMax does not provide any form of insurance (including but not limited to property damage, health, life or accident insurance). The customer should purchase appropriate insurance to cover potential risks.

  7. Tracking

    The customer understands and agrees that tracking devices may be placed in premium bicycles for theft prevention purposes. The tracking devices must not be removed or tampered with, or the customer will be charged S$50 for each device replacement.

  8. Return of the Bicycle

    The customer agrees to return the bicycle in the same condition as when it was received at the end of the rental period, fair wear and tear excepted.

  9. Late Return

    Unless otherwise agreed, if the bicycle is returned late (after noon on the next day), the customer agrees to pay an additional fee of half the daily rental fee for each day of delay.

  10. Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental date, or the full deposit will be forfeited. In case of cancellation, a S$50 penalty fee will be charged.

  11. Governing Law

    This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and its interpretation.

  1. 租赁费用

    如果您选择通过微信支付或支付宝支付,将按照当天的支付宝汇率将金额转换为人民币(CNY)。在租赁结束时计算退款金额时将使用相同的汇率。

  2. 押金

    只要公路车在退还时与租赁时的状态相同(正常磨损除外),押金将被及时退还。

  3. 公路车的使用

    顾客同意以小心和适当的方式使用公路车,并遵守与公路车使用、操作和维护相关的所有法律、条例和法规。当前的新加坡道路交通法规规定:

    • 在道路上骑行:必须始终佩戴头盔,公路车必须配备前后灯。

    • 在公园连接道骑行:公路车速度不得超过25公里/小时。

  4. 维护和修理

    在租赁期间,顾客应对公路车的任何损坏负责,正常磨损除外。拿到车后,顾客应第一时间检查车身是否有任何瑕疵,并拍照发给RideMax。如无特别说明或者没有收到任何瑕疵照片,RideMax将认为顾客已经检查并接受了车况良好无瑕疵,之后还车时候如发现有任何损伤,将按照以下标准扣除押金:

    • 爆胎(内胎):顾客可以选择自行更换内胎,或支付每个内胎S$10的更换费。

    • 爆胎(外胎或管胎):顾客可以选择自行更换相同品牌和型号的外胎或管胎,或支付每个外胎或管胎S$50的更换费。

    • 车架或套件上可见的划痕/凹痕/痕迹(碳纤维车架):顾客可以选择自行在信誉良好的车间修理车架或套件,或支付每个划痕S$100-200的更换费,具体取决于损坏的严重程度。

    • 车轮组上可见的划痕/凹痕/痕迹(碳纤维轮组):顾客可以选择自行在信誉良好的车间修理车轮组,或支付每个划痕S$50的更换费。

    • 车架的结构性损坏导致公路车无法使用:整个押金将被没收,顾客可以保留公路车。

    • 车轮组的结构性损坏导致车轮组无法使用:顾客可以选择更换相同的车轮组,或支付S$1,000的更换费并保留车轮组。

    • 附加项目的丢失或损坏导致无法使用:顾客可以选择更换相同的附加项目,或支付每个附加项目S$50的更换费。

  5. 责任

    顾客应对因使用租赁公路车而对自己或第三方或财产造成的任何事故或伤害承担全部责任。

    顾客还同意赔偿并使Ri de Max免受因顾客使用公路车而引起的任何索赔、损害、损失和费用的影响。如果顾客在租车期间将公路车交由他人使用,顾客也需对因此引发的任何事故或责任承担全部责任。

    RideMax在法律允许的最大范围内,不对因使用或操作租赁公路车而导致的任何形式的损害,包括但不限于直接、间接、偶然、特殊、惩罚性或后续损害承担责任。

  6. 保险

    顾客明确理解并同意,RideMax不提供任何形式的保险(包括但不限于财产损失、健康、生命或意外保险)。顾客应自行购买适当的保险以涵盖潜在风险。

  7. 追踪

    顾客理解并同意,在高级公路车中可能会放置追踪装置,目的是为了防盗。追踪装置不得被移除或篡改,否则顾客将承担每个装置S$50的更换费用。

  8. 公路车归还

    顾客同意在租赁期结束时以收到时的状态将公路车归还给RideMax,正常磨损除外。

  9. 延迟归还

    除非另有约定,若延迟归还(次日中午后),顾客同意每天支付相当于每日租赁费用一半的额外费用。

  10. 取消政策

    取消必须在预定租赁日期前至少24小时进行,押金全额退还,否则将收取S$50的罚金。

  11. 法律适用

    本协议应受新加坡法律管辖并按其解释。
